Man involved in three-vehicle wreck receives $825K in arbitration
On August 24, 2019, Carlos Mahoney received an $825,000 arbitration award in an underinsured motorist case for a male client who was severely injured at the age of 26 in a three-vehicle wreck in Person County, NC. The arbitration award was more than three times greater than the insurance company’s highest offer. The insurance company contested liability and damages at the arbitration hearing. Following the arbitration award, the client’s workers compensation case was settled for $75,000.
